Scott is currently the CEO of Bryan Construction. Bryan Construction is a leading Colorado-based commercial, federal, and multi-family construction company. The company constructs multi-million-dollar projects for the private, public, and federal sectors throughout the western continental United States, Caribbean, Middle East, eastern Europe, Israel and Africa. The company operates offices in Colorado Springs, Denver, Fort Collins, Istanbul, Turkey, and Israel.
Other companies Scott owns and operates include Bryan Power Generation, an Engineering, procurement and construction company designing and building small power plants for large private power users around the country. Prima Development Inc., a commercial development company, in conjunction with Prima there are several real estate holding limited liability companies. Scott also is co-partner in the Ponderosa Valley Ranch in the Spanish Peaks area in Southern Colorado where they run a cow-calf and hay operation.
In addition to leading Bryan Construction, Scott provides leadership to the Colorado Springs community. He served two terms as Chairman of the board of the Colorado Springs Regional Economic Development Corporation (EDC). Prior to this, he was the chair of the Greater Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee. He is also involved in the Quality Community Group and the Regional Coalition for Strategic Federal Action (mPAC), which he founded and is an executive board member.
He is also active in the Pikes Peak Range Riders, Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo (past president), Pikes Peak or Bust Foundation (past President), The Colorado Thirty Group, East Colorado Springs Rotary, Associated General Contractors, and the Society of American Military Engineers. Other interests include horseback riding, team roping, skiing, fly fishing, hunting, cycling, scuba diving, sailing, and flying.
